Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist & Website Manager to work with as an independent contractor. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the optimal performance of our website by monitoring it daily, testing for any errors or glitches, and updating website details as needed. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Webflow, Shopify, coding skills, and experience working with hospitality companies. The candidate should also reside close to the US time zone to ensure smooth and timely communication. The Person We're Looking for Will Have:

• Proven expertise in Webflow and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant coding languages.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, with a focus on the hospitality industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot website issues promptly.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work in or close to the US time zone for seamless coordination with our team.
• Demonstrated extensive experience with Shopify and a strong track record of building numerous Shopify websites.

What You'll Be Doing: Website Maintenance and Monitoring:

• Updates: Apply the latest software and security patches.
• Performance: Monitor uptime, speed, and performance.
• Error Logs: Regularly review and address errors.

Security Management:

• Updates: Implement the latest security measures.
• Data Protection: Use SSL certificates for user data protection.
• Authentication: Maintain strong user authentication systems.

Backup and Recovery:

• Backups: Perform regular backups of data and code.
• Recovery: Develop a disaster recovery plan for quick restoration.

Database Management:

• Optimization: Ensure efficient database performance.
• Integrity: Maintain data consistency during high transactions.

User Experience (UX):

• Testing: Conduct usability tests for ease of navigation.
• Responsive Design: Ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.

Payment Gateway Integration:

• Processing: Manage and troubleshoot payment gateways.
• Compliance: Adhere to relevant financial regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS).

Technical Support:

• Support: Provide assistance for transaction and functionality issues.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues promptly.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Traffic Analysis: Monitor web traffic and user behavior.
• Reports: Generate performance and feedback reports.

SEO and Marketing Integration:

• SEO: Optimize for search engines.
• Marketing Tools: Manage marketing campaigns and tools.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Teamwork: Coordinate with developers, designers, and marketers.
• Updates: Keep stakeholders informed of performance and issues.

Compliance and Legal:

• Privacy Policies: Ensure GDPR and other legal compliance.
• Terms: Regularly update terms of service and privacy policies.

Disclaimer: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position that requires a minimum of 50–60+ hours per week. It is not a part-time, contract, or remote freelance role. Candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced, high-performance environment that often includes extended work hours, especially during peak seasons and event periods.
