Business Analyst, Automation & AI Remote

We are seeking a Business Analyst to act as a strategic liaison between operations technology and the Internal Efficiency Automation team. This role combines process intelligence and emerging technology fluency to accelerate automation and AI adoption across Experian Employer Services Verification Solutions and Housing (EVH). You will independently evaluate opportunities lead discovery and prioritization processes and ensure that automation and AI projects deliver measurable outcomes. You will report to Experians Application Architect Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end intake process for automation and AI projects from opportunity identification to implementation readiness.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define strategic automation roadmaps and align proposals with organizational goals.
  • Conduct detailed current-state assessments and translate manual workflows into structured automatable processes.
  • Perform comprehensive Return on investment modeling and sensitivity analyses to quantify efficiency gains error reduction and capacity improvements.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions with senior team members
  • Collaborate with automation architects developers and data scientists to shape requirements that ensure functional precision and scalability.
  • Oversee initiative tracking reporting and communication of value realization metrics to executive sponsors.
  • Establish and improve the intake and governance framework for automation and AI projects promoting transparency repeatability and data-driven decision-making.
  • Be a subject-matter advisor on automation trends intelligent document processing generative AI use cases and ethical AI considerations.

Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience in business analysis process automation AI or digital transformation.
  • Experience defining and delivering automation or AI-enabled solutions with measurable Return on investment.
  • Experience with automation and AI technologies including MS Playwright RPA (UiPath Power Automate Automation Anywhere) workflow orchestration intelligent document processing and generative AI.
  • Experience in business case development and financial modeling.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and influence prioritization decisions across departments.
  • Storytelling skillsable to distill technical details into clear actionable business narratives.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models with proficiency in backlog and intake management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Prior experience designing or operationalizing automation governance frameworks or intake portals.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale AI transformation programs or automation centers of excellence.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI Tableau) for tracking automation KPIs.
  • Certification in business analysis (CBAP) Agile (CSPO / PMI-ACP) or RPA platforms.
