Mumps Developer - Ace Technologies, Inc.

Job Description: Profile Developer A Profile Developer within our Retail Bank Technology requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them. Duties include development in one or more of the following technologies: Mumps, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), SQL.

Responsibilities Work with the Development Team Leader and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements. Work with the Development Team Leader to help manage tasks and stories. Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement. Produce detailed design specifications from project requirements. Design, Develop & test Projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on specification documents. Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability. Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort using JIRA. Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of Client systems in accordance with Capital One policies, procedures and guidelines.

Basic Qualifications: At least 5 years of professional experience developing on Profile application (MUMPS and PSL) At last 5 years of professional experience developing banking software such as financial products and financial reporting features 3+ years working in an Agile Environment At least 2 years of professional experience with multi-tier system design and implementation Scripting language experience (Shell Scripts, Awk) Knowledge of cloud engineering topics. Good working knowledge of banking concepts

Must have experience w/ banking & financial services (not healthcare)

Working on bank modernization and Discover integration
