About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on MySQL Administrator to join our infrastructure or platform team. This is a purely operational role, ideal for someone with strong experience in managing MySQL environments at scale. If you're passionate about keeping databases running smoothly and securely—without diving into application-side concerns—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Provision, configure, and maintain MySQL databases
• Manage and monitor replication setups
• Ensure reliable backup and recovery processes
• Perform MySQL version upgrades with minimal impact
• Contribute to process documentation and operational readiness

What We’re Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience with MySQL in production environments
• Solid understanding of replication, backups, and upgrade strategies
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., shell scripting, Ansible) is a plus
• No need for application-side skills like schema design or query tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years in an operational DBA role
• Experience with Percona, Galera, or cloud-based MySQL services is a plus
• Comfort with Linux-based systems and monitoring tools
