Senior Software Engineer
Job Title: Software Engineer senior
Location: Anywhere in EU
Duration: 6-12 months
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or engineering.
- In the absence of a Bachelor/ Master degree in the relevant field, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 7 years can be accepted.
Mandatory Experience:
- 7 years of experience in the field of Software Development for Financial Institutions.
- Knowledge of software development methodology, design and lifecycles.
- Experience supporting WallStreet Suite TRM interfaces and CSDs developments.
- Strong experience with Sybase ASE, PL/SQL, Python, XML and Linux.
- Strong ability to understand context for source code, the source codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
- Ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and software tools for agile planning as Jira.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices. Continuous build and integration using Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Liquibase, Junit.
- Behaviour driven testing and test automation using cucumber framework.
- GitHub or another source code repository.
- Knowledge of English.
