Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team to carry out local school contracts The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of road safety regulations and the ability to maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
Responsibilities
- Operate the bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, addressing any queries or concerns during transit.
- Keep accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts as required.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to management.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid commercial driving licence.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication with passengers and colleagues.
