Integration Specialist

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for an Integration Specialist with strong Workato experience to design, build, and maintain automated workflows and integrations that connect our SaaS platform with the broader ecosystem our customers use. You’ll be responsible for translating business needs into scalable Workato recipes, connectors, and automation strategies that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and customer experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and maintain Workato recipes and connectors to integrate our platform with third-party applications.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to gather integration requirements and turn them into technical solutions.

• Liaise directly with customers to gather requirements, demo integrations, and troubleshoot issues.

• Optimize and troubleshoot existing integrations to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Implement best practices for recipe organization, error handling, and security.

• Maintain and iterate on the Company's Connector to align with our APIs

• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers on Workato capabilities and integration strategies.

• Stay up to date on Workato features, API changes, and emerging integration patterns.

• Proven experience developing Workato recipes, connectors, and automation workflows.

• Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and JSON/XML data formats.

• Experience with iPaaS platforms beyond Workato (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Boomi).

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python for advanced Workato functions.

• Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices in integrations.

• Experience working with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, Slack, or similar.

• Ability to translate business processes into automated workflows with minimal supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot integration issues quickly.
